At the end of the morning you will receive a warm welcome at Hotel-Restaurant De Oorsprong, a former stud farm that saved the Friesian horse breed from extinction. Here, history is told about De Oorsprong and the Friesian horse.
After this piece of history, a delicious Frisian lunch is waiting at De Oorsprong, followed by a ride in marathon carts through the beautiful surroundings of the Vegelinbossen.

Upon return, there will be drinks followed by a Bildts Culinary buffet with regional products from the province. After dinner in the old stables of the stud farm, the journey continues to the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden, where you can enjoy the spectacular show De Stormruiter. Afterwards, you will return to Hotel De Oorsprong for an overnight stay and breakfast.
