Your own city for a weekend? You can at Landal Esonstad, an atmospheric and watery park right on the Lauwersmeer lake and just a few kilometres from the Wadden Sea (Schiermonnikoog).

You can hire the fortified town of Landal Esonstad in its entirety or partially. It is therefore the perfect place for a meeting, team building or a relaxed and unforgettable company outing. There are about 200 holiday homes (4 to 12 persons) at your disposal, which can accommodate groups of 30 to 1,200 people. There is also an indoor swimming pool, an 18-hole golf course and, of course, various wellness facilities.

Wading to Schiermonnikoog

In addition to all the state-of-the-art facilities for meetings, Esonstad also offers the possibility of numerous special outdoor activities. Take, for instance, mudflat hiking, combined with a visit to the beautiful and unspoiled island of Schiermonnikoog. You depart by boat from Lauwersoog to the sandbank 'Brakzand' and then walk across the mud flats to Schiermonnikoog for a delicious and well-deserved brunch or lunch. Afterwards, you return to Lauwersoog by ferry.
